TR-1000 Rhythm Creator

This is what my heart is set on next.
As mostly an experienced DAW user, I have not had the grueling opportunity to perform, since I didn't want to use a computer in a live setting. This device changes that and inspires me to take the stage without the need for a computer.

One of the first experiences which led me to audio engineering was DJ equipment. Watching a DJ filter sweep on a pioneer mixer and hearing the audible change in music blew me away. That is what makes this piece of equipment so dear to me. 
A Drum Machine that standalone can entertain a crowd as well as two turntables. Rhythm is the center of electronic music and the TR-1000 is easily going to find it's way as the centerpiece of performances.
Even with it's heavy price tag, and the horrid economic state of life, it will find it's way into many new studio's as they develop.
It's easy to look up Roland's history of products, and nice to see how those best features of previous technology inspired the TR-1000's versatile design.

It is going to be hard work just to get the device. It will be even harder work, with it's pleasures and rewards of success, once I have it.
